Symptoms
Flat feet can be detected at birth or it can present itself years later. Most children with flat feet have no symptoms, but some children have one or more of the following symptoms:
Pain, tenderness, or cramps in the foot, leg, and knee
heel tilt out
Clumsiness or changes in the way you walk
difficulties with shoes
Reduced energy when participating in physical activities
