How to Eliminate Bunions

1. - Try to do exercises for the feet. - The exercises can help slow down or even stop the progress of the bunions, preventing you from eventually requiring surgery.

Try to do the following exercises every day, especially after removing your shoes:

  • Stretch the big toe. Use your fingers to pull the big toe so that it is aligned with the rest of the toes.
  • Stretch the rest of your toes. Simply put them on tip for 10 seconds, then turn them on for 10 seconds. Repeat several times.
  • Flex your fingers. Press them against the floor or the wall until they bend back. Hold them for 10 seconds, then release. Repeat several times.
  • Hold your fingers. Practice lifting an article of clothing or towel with your fingers, releasing and lifting again.

2. - Use a bunion pad or an insert on the shoe to re-align your fingers. - If you can see the bunion at an early stage, a bunion pad purchased at any drugstore or drugstore can help relieve pain and point the finger in the proper direction. The inserts in the shoes can re-align the fingers when you wear the shoes.

3. - Wrap your foot and fingers in a re-alignment position. - Your fingers can adapt to the new position after wearing them wrapped with tape for one or two weeks. Ask your doctor if you need help with this process.

4. - Relieves pain. - Exercising feet and toes is good, but the cause of the intense bunion pain must be discovered. Rest your aching feet, using the following methods:

  • Soak your feet in warm water. Prepare a bowl of warm water and allow your feet to soak for twenty minutes. The heat will calm your joints and relieve pain temporarily.
  • Try an ice pack. For outbursts of pain, ice packs are a good option. Fill a plastic bag with ice and wrap it in a thin towel. Apply this ice pack for twenty minutes several times a day.
  • Take anti-inflammatory medicine without asteroids, such as ibuprofen, to relieve pain.

5. - For mild to moderate bunions. - a flexible pad, such as "Bunion-Aid" has been scientifically proven to effectively correct "Hallux valgus" and relieve bunion pain.
