How to Soften and Smooth your Feet

1. - Moisturize your feet constantly. - You can apply Vaseline on the feet to soften them. You must apply some type of lotion or moisturizing product on your feet every day.

2. - Prepare a homemade scrub. - You can make homemade scrubs to apply to your feet, with ingredients that you commonly have in the house. If you apply these scrubs regularly, you will have softer and smoother feet.

Prepare a sugar scrub with brown sugar (1/2 cup), honey (one tablespoon), olive oil (or any oil you choose, also ½ cup) and lemon juice (a splash). Brown sugar is less rough than normal sugar. It will help the skin retain moisture after applying the scrub. Honey will also help soften and moisturize the feet. The lemon juice will lighten and match the skin tone of the feet.

3. - Soak the feet. - Immerse your feet in warm water for 10 minutes before going to bed. You must do it several days a week. If you do not take care of your feet regularly, calluses and roughness will begin to accumulate, especially in the heels.

Add a few drops of liquid soap and a little baking soda to the water (1 tablespoon for 5 liters of water) or try the Epsom salts or bath salts.

Sodium bicarbonate helps soften dead skin and facilitate its removal. You can also dip your feet in a foot spa. You can buy these spas in many stores. These usually connect and generate a movement similar to that of a spa in the water, which is relaxing.
